I am honored to announce the inclusion of my sculpture, Sky Barge, in the third volume of the West Marin Review. WMR
received over 200 entries this year. The works were presented anonymously to a panel of four reviewers who made their selections based on each image’s quality, originality and creative expression. My work met and exceeded those criteria.

July - December 2009 - I will exhibit an installation from my Sky Barge series on the San Rafael Public Library grounds. The city of San Rafael offers public art project series curated by Phyllis Thelen. Art Works Downtown and the City of San Rafael seek entries for a continuing program of outdoor art installations and sculptures to be on view at five locations in and around downtown San Rafael.

In January 2009 I attended a workshop with Patrick Dougherty at Bennington College, VT. The North Country
Studio Workshops
organizes this intensive artist residency. I was awarded a Kira Fournier Scholarship from Ben Schore
and a Career Development Grant from the Marin Arts Council...Thank you.

September 2008 - January 2009 one of my organic sculptures will be exhibited on the San Rafael Public Library grounds.
This project is sponsored by Art Reach and Artwork Downtown, San Rafael, CA

I will participate in the Bolinas/Stinson Beach annual Thanksgiving Open Studios event. Looking forward to seeing you at my studio!

I am happy to share with you some good news. I was one of the fortunate craft artists to be chosen by
Lloyd Herman for a paper exhbition entitled Pulp Function. Pulp Function will travel to national museums
from the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton, MA.

A site-specific, collaborative installation at Gallery Route One in Pt. Reyes Station,
California featuring artist’s Jacqueline Mallegni, Martin Butt and Waldemar
Mitrowski honoring the life and work of Wallace Stegner; inspired by the theme
‘geography of hope’.
A harmonious collaboration of sculpturual textures, waterworks and digital
imagery, RePose offers visitors a moment of reflection on how we meet our
environment, how we interact with, shape and rest in it and how we can
rediscover ourselves through Nature - integrating the Earth and it's systems
into our own selves, free from dualistic thinking.
