September 2008 - January 2009 one of my organic sculptures will be exhibited on the San Rafael Public Library grounds. This project is sponsored by Art Reach and Artwork Downtown, San Rafael, CA

I will participate in the Bolinas/Stinson Beach annual Thanksgiving Open Studios event. This year's open studio

January 2009 I will attend a workshop with Patrick Dougherty at Bennington College, VT. The North Country
Studio Workshops organizes this intensive artist residency. Support for this project provided by a grant from
from the Marin Arts Council.

I am happy to share with you some good news. I was one of the fortunate craft artists to be chosen by
Lloyd Herman for a paper exhbition entitled Pulp Function. Pulp Function will travel to national museums
from the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton, MA.

The Geography of Hope conference honoring the life and work of Wallace Stegner
in Pt. Reyes Station will present art installations as well as a full weekend of panel
discussions, guest speakers and field trips to local farms March 7-9, 2008

RePose
A site-specific, collaborative installation at Gallery Route One in Pt. Reyes Station,
California featuring artist’s Jacqueline Mallegni, Martin Butt and Waldemar
Mitrowski honoring the life and work of Wallace Stegner; inspired by the theme
‘geography of hope’.
A harmonious collaboration of sculpturual textures, waterworks and digital
imagery, RePose offers visitors a moment of reflection on how we meet our
environment, how we interact with, shape and rest in it and how we can
rediscover ourselves through Nature - integrating the Earth and it's systems
into our own selves, free from dualistic thinking.
